Dibakar Banerjee wanted Katrina to act in Shanghaialong with Abhay Deol and Emraan Hashmi, and the actress too showed keen interest but she turned it down. Reason? She preferred acting with Imran Khan in a romantic comedy to acting with Emraan Hashmi in a political thriller.
