Hrithik Roshan did refuse to take a day off from shooting to watch India SriLanka cricket match, but that did not stop him from watching the match later and praise Dhoni and team for their outstanding performance. Hrithik asserted that Dhoni’s six was a perfect thing to end the final match.
Hrithik was busy shooting for his upcoming movie remake of 1990 Bollywood blockbuster Agneepath. Although director Karan Johar asked him whether the shooting should be cancelled for the day so, that everyone can watch the cricket world cup final. But Hrithik said a stern ‘No’ and continued with the shooting.
Hrithik was among those stars that could not manage a day off because of pre-committed shooting schedule and had to miss the World Cup final between India and Sri Lanka. Hrithik is a huge Tendulkar fan and like everyone else loves cricket very much, but even two days ago no one knew that India would be in the final and because of his advance date allotment he could not attend the match despite the match being held in Mumbai.
If Hrithik had vetoed Karan Johar’s request to cancel the shoot, the ace director would have to incur huge losses.
