Selena Gomez And Leighton Meester Open Up About Growing Up In Single-Parent Households!

In Selena Gomez's new movie, Monte Carlo, the actress plays a teenager in the middle of acclimating to a new step-parent and sister, played by Leighton Meester, and she's recently revealed that she drew a lot of inspiration for the part from her own parents' divorce when she was just five years old!

She explains:

"I just think it's really common nowadays, that you grow up in a single-parent household. I grew up like that, and I was fine. My dad was still in my life, so it was good. I love that there's that message in the movie. Being able to be married into a family, which is so common, and having people you don't know like stepsisters and stepbrothers, and getting past the awkward stage. I think it was nice that we touched on that."

And Leighton agrees:

"I feel like we're all family, and it's actually a happier family then when I was younger and it was just me and my brothers. I have sisters now, and I always wanted sisters, and so for the last nine years they've been my sisters. It's great, but I think a lot of people can relate to that. It is sort of weird at first, I guess. I think the movie touches on that a bit. It's the same thing as meeting somebody on a movie, either they're cool or they're not."

Leighton Meester: Selena Gomez Is An 'Amazing Role Model'

Leighton recently sat down with PopEater to chat about her new film, Monte Carlo, but also gushed about co-star Selena Gomez.

“She’s the most amazing role model,” Leighton shared. “She’ll have full on conversations with her fans - but they’re 6 years old. She is just so wonderful with them.”

Can The Secret Circle's New Bad Boy Go Good?

And here we thought Nick was the resident bad boy of The Secret Circle...

Last week's arrival of his brother, Jake (Chris Zylka), signaled a new danger for the coven. Although they've been reluctantly trying to recruit this new Armstrong brother to replace the dearly departed Nick (RIP!), little do they know that it's actually Jake who has brought the witch hunters to Chance Harbor!

The Secret Circle boss dissects Nick's death and the coven's possible replacement

Beginning with this week's Halloween episode (Thursday, 9/8c on The CW), we'll see that Jake has set off a dangerous series of events stemming from a long-nurtured resentment and hatred. You see, he was distraught over the death of his parents in that mysterious event 16 years ago that claimed the lives on many of the circle's families and is determined to prevent such an incident from ever happening again by eliminating the coven. "He knows where magic can go," Zylka tells TVGuide.com. "Magic going to that dark place took everyone's parents 16 years ago and he's well aware of that and is bitter about it."

But will his new dealings with the circle make the bad boy have a change of heart?

"Jake's on a pretty dark path," Zylka says. "He comes here with one thing on his mind, but once you come into the circle and you feel the emotions and attachment, it's almost undeniable. However, Jake may be one of those people that is strong enough to deny those feelings because of all the hatred he has towards the people of this town.

The Secret Circle Exclusive: Hunter's Stepfanie Kramer to play creepy Charles' mom

"I wouldn't count it out that he could maybe feel a connection with a circle, but he's come to Chance Harbor with a goal in mind and that's all he has in his mind unless someone or something can clear it up," he adds.

Cassie (Britt Robertson) may be the one person who can stop Jake in his quest for revenge. "She is new and she is accepting of most things," Zylka explains. "She gives Jake the benefit of the doubt. This may be the first time anyone has given him the benefit of the doubt because of his past. Just the feeling of being given a second chance, it's like, 'Why wouldn't you consider that?' This is a girl he sees a lot in and recognizes how powerful this girl is."

Their connection has already sparked hurt feelings in Faye (Phoebe Tonkin), his ex, and Adam (Thomas Dekker), whose family Jake stole from before leaving Chance Harbor. "Knowing Faye, she's not going to be too happy about it," Zylka says about Jake and Cassie's new bond. "She's going to try her best to get in between that."

The Secret Circle Love Triangle Scoop: Diana is losing faith!

Zylka adds that the coven is still waiting for Adam to eventually snap, considering his history with Jake. "We've touched a bit on Jake stealing form Adam's father (Adam Harrington), but there's something else there, and we'll see how that unfolds with what really did happen between the two of them," he says. "There's going to be that tension drawn out as much as possible before either one of us really explodes."

With this growing camaraderie with Cassie, however, Jake will be forced to choose sides. "He's definitely going to try to fight [his loyalties between] both families," Zylka says. "The witch hunters took him in, and it's like a boy raised by wolves. The circle is obviously his new family, so which one is going to have the greater influence?"
The Secret Circle airs Thursdays at 9/8c on The CW.

Do you think Jake will choose the witch hunters or Cassie and the circle?

Synopsis For The Secret Circle Season 1, Episode 9 “Balcoin”: Cassie Has Superpowers!

You know how Cassie’s (Britt Robertson) able to do all kinds of crazy spells that the rest of her Circle can’t even wrap their minds around? There was the time she stopped a thunderstorm, the time she lifted some dew droplets into the air – and let’s not forget her penchant for exploding light bulbs! Well, it turns out that Cassie has individual powers that are separate from the Circle’s, and she goes on a quest to find out more about them!

Of course, every adventure needs a hot boy, so Cassie brings Chance Harbor newbie, Jake, along for the ride. They look into her family tree in the hopes that they’ll find more info about her powers, but Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) is none too happy about their budding relationship. She tells the rest of the Circle that Jake is hiding something dangerous from them, which causes Adam (Thomas Dekker) to become protective of Cassie. Girl fight alert! (We’re referring to Adam and Faye, obviously.)

Meanwhile, Melissa’s (Jessica Parker Kennedy) sexy cousin Holden rolls into town and starts making eyes at Diana (Shelley Hennig), which sends Adam into a tizzy.

If you’re wondering what’s going on with the middle-ageds, Charles (Gale Harold) and Dawn (Natasha Henstridge) are in for a major shift in power that might destroy their evil plans to take over the Pacific North West. Will Charles finally stand up to the boss-lady?

Check out the full synopsis below!

At the same time, Adam’s equally concerned when Melissa’s (Jessica Parker Kennedy) cousin Holden (guest star Arlen Escarpeta) comes to town and catches Diana’s (Shelley Hennig) eye. A power shift forms between Charles (Gale Harold) and Dawn (Natasha Henstridge) that threatens to destroy their plan.

Ian Somerhalder Home: Nina Dobrev Feeling Better

Ian Somerhalder is back in Atlanta after spending a few days on the West Coast. He and his girlfriend, Nina Dobrev, are back to work on The Vampire Diaries after being apart since Saturday. Nina actually had a nasty bout of food poisoning, but it sounds like she got back to work on Thursday.

"Woah, I've been absent! Sorry Twitterverse! Still feeling under the weather, but I will conquer this! Onward and upward!" Nina tweeted on Wednesday. "Late night on TVD set—old man winter is around. Yes, it's that time. Time to embrace the chill. No doubt," Ian tweeted very early Friday morning.

It's definitely back to normal for these two, with plenty of filming! Over the past few weeks, Ian Somerhalder has been flying to California without Nina, but maybe he will settle back down for weekends in ATL. Nina has been laying low since attending We Day in Canada a few weeks ago, but who knows where she will jet set next?

The holidays are fast approaching and all eyes are going to be on these two. Do you think they will spend them together?

Penn Badgley Disses Blake Lively? Enjoys 'Gossip Girl' Scenes With Leighton Meester Best!

Penn Badgley is playing favorites! The Gossip Girl star revealed he likes working on scenes with Leighton Meester best, but what about his ex-girlfriend Blake Lively?

In a new interview with Nylon magazine, Penn was asked who he thought his Gossip Girl character Dan's soul mate is. And while answering the question, he also revealed some information about himself!

"Blair, actually. Definitely," Penn said of Leighton's character. "I think Blair is Dan's soul mate."

"I don’t know if they’re ever going to get together," he warned, "but I’ll tell you that I’ve never enjoyed any scenes on the show as much as those scenes with Leighton Meester, strictly intellectually as an actor."

Penn's character was a couple with Blake's character Serena for a long time on the show and it mimicked their real-life relationship. Penn and Blake ended their three year relationship in September 2010.

"There’s a whole other thing — like everything that happened early on in the show, like the obvious Dan and Serena stuff, that moved me in a different way for obvious reasons, but strictly as an actor, those scenes with Blair are the best."

Do you think Penn's ex Blake could still be offended by that? Or is she too busy focusing on her new love interest, Ryan Reynolds?

Selena Gomez & Gregg Sulkin: Do-Si-Do Dancers

Alex and Harper just can’t get rid of that principal!

“Get Along, Little Zombie” airs Friday, October 21st @ 8PM ET/PT on Disney Channel.

Love Selena Gomez Fun and Fans!

Selena Gomez lets feathers rain on the crowd of fans as she performs at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Friday night (October 14).

The 19-year-old singer changed up her looks from her USA tour, going from a nude color of dresses to all blue — with feathers!

Selena recently chatted with THR about her upcoming hosting duties at the MTV EMAs next month in Belfast, Ireland.

“With the promo that we released, its kind of the direction I want to go in. There will be fun and different and things people have never seen me do before…We’re working on it creatively, so it’s mostly about what kind of skits we are going to do, but I can’t say more than that just yet.”

She added about what you’ll be seeing her wear on stage, “I think I have a five-hour fitting or something ridiculous like that scheduled and we are going to go through that. We’re going to try different outfits that I’ve never worn before and it’s definitely going to be more about the fashion when it comes to my clothes and stuff.”

Angelina Jolie visits Libya to help aid agencies

Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie has flown down to Libya to help aid agencies bring in supplies to the country.

The 36-year-old is visiting Tripoli and Misrata for a two-day trip as part of her role as a United Nations goodwill ambassador to see how aid is reaching the rebels and ordinary citizens following the removal of dictator Muammar Gaddafi's 41-year regime, reported Daily Mail.

Jolie insisted it was an honour for her to witness a country fighting for change.

"I have come to Libya for a variety of reasons, to see a country in transition at every level and to witness efforts to fully realise the promise of the Arab Spring.

"The country faces a host of challenges, including internally displaced people, refugees, rule of law, security, sanitation, education, health and other humanitarian needs. All of these pieces must be delivered and co-ordinated properly in an environment of reconciliation and justice. I will be meeting with officials from all sides but above all, listening to the local people in the street. I am here to express solidarity with them. It is the work of rebuilding and recovery that will determine Libya's future," Jolie said.

This was Jolie's first visit to Libya, but she previously visited Libyan refugees in Malta and on the Italian island of Lampedusa. She also went to Tunisia in to appeal for international s

The Secret Circle Enemies are Circling Poster

IF YOU STILL HAVEN’T SEEN THURSDAY’S EPISODE, DON’T CONTINUE READING!

Okay for the rest of you, you know that shirtless super hunk Nick died by the hands of Charles Meade. Man, that Charles loves to kill, doesn’t he?

Earlier today we showed you the poster which we like to call Girl ‘Power’.

Now we bring you a second poster different from the others we’ve seen. The poster below includes the remaining five members of the Circle. Wow, Adam getting all wet with all those other girls.. Lucky guy!

The poster reminds me a lot of Lady in the Water poster which you can view here.

As we know, Nick was drowned and I like to interperate this poster as the other Circle members looking for his soul in the water to bring him back. *sniffle*

The drowning scene did make me cry and Executive Producer and The Secret Circle developer Andrew Miller tells us that he did too. *tear*

The Secret Circle Boss Talks Tonight's Shocking Death and What's Ahead for the Coven

Excuse us while we scrape the remnants of our jaws off the floor. The Secret Circle's coven of teenage witches finally learned how dangerous their magic can be in tonight's episode: Taking a cue from its lead-in, The Vampire Diaries, the show killed off one of the circle's six members. Yes, five episodes in and The Secret Circle already has its first major casualty. Clearly, they came to play.

We chatted with executive producer Andrew Miller about the decision to kill off the fan favorite, how the circle will be impacted by his death and the new guy coming to town to stir up some trouble for the coven...

When did you make the decision to kill off Nick (Louis Hunter)?
From the beginning. I'm learning at the feet of the master [Kevin Williamson]. The reality is, we had this show about a group of people connecting with one another in order to achieve great things. It felt like you couldn't fully understand what that meant without breaking that connection somehow. It just felt that for the stakes of the show, what would separate it from other shows in the past, was doing something like this...we're binding the circle, binding together six people stronger, but the world of our show has to be a world where the danger they find themselves in, the danger that bonds them and the danger that finds them, is enough to stop them. So, it was really important to us from the very beginning to establish those rules.

For fans of the book, us included, Nick was definitely a favorite. Were you nervous about killing such a popular character?
Yeah...I'm nervous about killing anybody, but particularly a character that people like. I think at the heart of the books was the idea of kids getting involved in something that they shouldn't be. It just felt that in order to sustain that idea over the course of season after season, you just really needed to establish the stakes. We didn't want to make a show where at the end of every week, everything would be OK [or] they could just kind of crinkle their nose and make everything better. We wanted to show that there were risks and they couldn't just run around amok with power...they had to be careful. There are consequences to every action, and with these guys, because their actions are so much more heightened, you just have to also heighten those consequences.

On a lot of supernatural shows, actors actually get more work after their character dies. Is there any chance we'll see Nick again?

There are no plans for that—I think that is dangerous territory and you have to be careful with how you deal with that. As a fan, you don't want to feel like people are messing with you, so we're playing this for real. In episode six, they're dealing with the subject of his death in a really real and emotional way because again, in the interest of grounding our show, people deal with that all the time and you don't often see that on a supernatural show. Even though it's a supernatural show we didn't want to be like, "Yeah, people died, no big deal." We had to do an episode where they all kind of looked at each other and go, "Oh, s--t. What have we started?"

How will Nick's death impact Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy) and the rest of the coven?
The impact of his death is huge on all the characters, particularly Melissa. We were trying to give a four- to five-episode arc between [them], and by this point in this episode they really came to a great place together as a couple. Her possession in this episode hits him harder than anybody and ultimately his death is going to hit her harder than anybody. That has a reverberation that affects her relationship with Faye (Phoebe Tonkin)...death causes you to ask questions that you never would have thought to ask yourself before. That's what we want to deal with in six and episodes that follow.

When someone dies, does the bound circle break? Will they get their individual powers back?
It's an issue. How they deal with one of the six dying and the bound unbroken aspect is definitely something that they will deal with in six. The problem with witchcraft is it's just so damn complicated. [Laughs.] There is no easy answer, but mythology-wise, Chris Zylka's character will contribute to the idea of what a bound circle is in a surprising way.

Zylka, who is playing Jake, makes his first appearance in episode six. What can you tell us about his role?
Nick's death will cause reverberations within the circle, but it will bring in new complications from outside the circle, from outside of town, and that will be embodied in the incredibly body of Chris Zylka! [Laughs.] He's coming to town because of Nick's death [Jake is Nick's older brother, E! has learned], but because he's coming to town, the circle will get messed up.

Yeah, he doesn't offend our eyes or anything. How is he going to impact the relationships within the coven?
He's going to shake up Adam (Thomas Dekker) and Cassie (Britt Robertson), he's going to shake up Diana (Shelley Hennig) and Faye, and he's going to shake up Melissa and Faye. He's going to shake up everyone because he has a history with all of them that will really change up the dynamic of our circle. We'll discover that Adam has a very specific and angry past with Jake, and we'll get into their relationship. The second that he rolls back into town it's going to be a problem for Adam.

True Blood's Kristin Bauer sinks her teeth into her role.

Kristin Bauer plays vampire Eric Northman's icy-hearted progeny Pam De Beaufort on HBO's True Blood. In real life, Bauer loves playing the baddest bitch in Bon Temps. In a recent e-mail interview with City Link, the actress addressed the perks of playing a vampire and recalled the hilarious television role she played long before she developed fangs.

How has your life changed since True Blood went on the air?
Well, I now have to shower and wear some makeup to go to Starbucks. I have to borrow a little from Pam — be a tad more vain, as I could never say, “no” to a fan wanting a photo because I'm not wearing mascara. And I get asked my thoughts on things and I have lots to say about rights and free will, especially regarding animals, as they are truly innocent and voiceless. It is also possible playing Pam has opened the door to my being seen as a “fierce bitch,” I think is the term and I'm all for that typecasting.

How do you prepare to play Pam and what do you enjoy most about the role? What's the most challenging part?
I try to be my most dry and sarcastic self. Then, I get in those clothes, sit in hair and makeup for two to five hours, and walk on to those gorgeous sets with these amazing actors, and 80 percent of the work has been created around me. All of that teamwork cannot be underestimated in how important it is to be able to believe I am an immortally bored vampire.

Were you familiar with the True Blood books before taking the role?
I was not. This entire world has been a delightful surprise.

What has been your most-memorable scene on the show so far?
Every year, there are many “most-memorable scenes” in my mind. Even the ones that I feel may be less memorable for Pam, I find out later from fans, that the fabulous dialogue they wrote made an impact. I can tell you I was very curious to see how the face-rotting scenes looked, like the fight scene I had with Rutina [Wesley]. We worked two long nights on that, and I was really hoping I was very edgy. And I hear I was.

Since you played Jerry's girlfriend with “man hands” on Seinfeld, what were your thoughts on that role and do fans still recognize you for that?
They do. Seinfeld fans are also a great, loyal group. It was such an amazing show. I have played such a variety of parts, I feel more like a character actor in many ways and value that about the parts I have gotten. I did a lot of comedy, many in sitcom format, and it is another world from True Blood and also so much joy.

On True Blood, who has been your favorite character or character(s) to interact with?
I am very partial to my maker, Eric [played by Alexander Skarsgård]. But I also have gotten to threaten Lafayette, flirt with Sookie, scowl at Bill, try to kill Tara a few times, ignore Ginger's screams, check out Jason and give horrible advice to Jessica.

What is it like working with Alexander Skarsgård?
Fang f-ing tastic.

Kristin Bauer will appear from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 with fellow True Blood star Jim Parrack for a free fan meet-and-greet at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, 5550 N.W. 40th St. Call 954-977-6700 or visit Seminolecoconutcreekcasino.com.

Britt Robertson teases 'Secret Circle' new relationships and daddy issues

"It's The CW, hello! We're not going to just ignore the fact that we're humans," The Secret Circle series star Britt Robertson laughed about the upcoming romantic relationship developments during an evening set visit on location in Vancouver.

All jokes aside, though, it doesn't seem like Cassie and Adam (Thomas Dekker), as "written in the stars" as they may be, will be hooking up any time soon.

"At this point there's so much going on in Cassie's world, I think the last thing she's trying to do is interfere in someone's relationship," Robertson offered. "And she's really taken a liking to Diana; Diana has taken her under her wing and they're friends; they're close; and the last thing she wants to do is hurt her friend...I think there will be a few love triangles that aren't Adam/Cassie/Diana, and there will definitely be some more romance in the air."

So far we saw a little hint at what romance could be outside of Adam for Cassie in the recent high school dance episode, but other moments that look promising include an upcoming evening playing truth or dare with select members of the circle...and some outsiders.

"Chris Zylka, he plays a character named Jake, and he comes into town for a wee bit, and we have a bit of an interaction," Robertson teased.

But aside from all the romance, there are still a lot of mysteries to unfold. These may be teenagers, but they have a unique skill set-- and a unique set of circumstances and problems because of it. Robertson shared that in the next few episodes, Cassie will decide it is time to step it up and take charge in a way, in order to get to the bottom of so many of the secrets from her family and her past.

"She's a Nancy Drew of sorts," Robertson smiled. "She decides she wants to learn a little bit more about magic, and she decides to go on a little field trip. She knows Faye is another one down to learn about magic, so she take her by the wing because, you know, they can only do magic with another person from the circle, so she takes Faye, and they learn a few things out. And then Faye comes back to her house and they end up having a crazy lock-in disaster of circumstances."

Nina Dobrev Dishes on "Vampire Diaries" Secrets, "Twilight" and a Good Cause!

Life is pretty good for Nina Dobrev. For starters, she's gorgeous. She stars on the hit CW show "The Vampire Diaries" where two hot guys constantly fight for her attention. Last month, she found herself on many Best Dressed lists following the Emmys. Oh, and she has heart of gold.

TooFab recently caught up with Nina to talk season 3 of her show, how she gets herself red carpet ready, and how you can help out with an important cause that's close to her heart.

TooFab: What are you most excited about for season 3 of “The Vampire Diaries?”

Dobrev: There are a few new and very exciting additions to our show. That always spices things up and changes the atmosphere. Also, the feel of the show is different now that Stefan (Paul Wesley) is with Klaus (Joseph Morgan) out of town. The dynamic has changed. The love triangles/squares are shifting as well, so that’s always fun to watch. Elena (Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) are growing closer whilst pushing each other away in fear of giving into their impulses/urges.

TooFab: I understand Ian recently played an x-rated prank on you on set. What happened?

Dobrev: Every crew and cast member on the set of “The Vampire Diaries” takes their job seriously and is professional, but we're also a close family that likes to have a good time by joking around and playing pranks. In an attempt to get the most honest reaction during a scene, Ian played a prank on me. They used that take of my reaction [in the season 3 premiere], so I'll leave it to the viewers to tell me if they thought it seemed genuine. I'll admit I was surprised… He got me, I really didn't see that coming!

TooFab: People are always drawing comparisons between “Twilight” and “The Vampire Diaries.” What do you think about this?

Dobrev: There are very small similarities and comparisons that can be made between the mythology of “Twilight” and “The Vampire Diaries.” Vampires and werewolves exist in many stories that can draw the same comparisons. However, “The Vampire Diaries,” now in its third season, has taken a life of its own and stands alone at this point.

TooFab: Are you a fan of “Twilight,” can you be one being on “The Vampire Diaries?”

Dobrev: I'm appreciative of “Twilight.” Its success has paved the way for the genre and allowed for our show to even exist. I've read the “Twilight” books. The story is compelling and I can see why so many are hooked and in love with the films! I'm also friends with some of the “Twilight” cast, and we vampires are all supportive of each other!

TooFab: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Can you tell TooFab a little more about the PUMA Project Pink Campaign?

Dobrev: Project Pink is a program that PUMA created in support of the fight against breast cancer. It's all about empowering young women to get involved and inspire change through the power of women's soccer. They've developed a line of really fun, girly Project Pink products and donate 100% of the profits from their sale. Instead of just dictating where the money goes, they set up a website at puma.com/projectpink. People can nominate and vote for a charity involved in breast cancer awareness or research that they feel is deserving of the money that's raised. PUMA also commits to donating another dollar, up to $25,000, every time someone Tweets using the hashtag #projectpink.

TooFab: What made you decide to put your name to this cause?

Dobrev: For me, it’s especially exciting to be a part of Project Pink because it isn’t just your regular breast cancer initiative. With this program, the people who purchase the product are the ones who get to decide where [the money] goes. And PUMA donates the full 100% of their profits, not just partial proceeds or only a small percentage, which is really cool.

I’m lucky because I’ve never had a family member diagnosed with breast cancer, but it’s impossible to ignore this disease that affects women across the world. I am now the minority, I want to there to be more people like me who don't have family members diagnosed with breast cancer. I want to be the majority. Whether you’ve been directly touched by breast cancer or not, it’s about raising awareness first and foremost, and that's something that I'm really committed to.

TooFab: What is your favorite product from the collection?

Dobrev: The t-shirts are really fun and bright and graphic, a great way to show your support. My favorite is the black shirt with pink writing. If Katherine [also played by Dobrev -- Elena's Vampire Doppelganger] were to wear a Project Pink t-shirt, it would be that one. Elena would wear the white version with pink writing. Oh! And those super-bright pink soccer balls are fun to kick around.

TooFab: Are you more of a jeans’n’t-shirt kind of girl or a couture queen?

Dobrev: A little bit of both, depending on what I'm doing! Everything in moderation, right? Day to day, I'm in jeans and a tee, but it’s fun to get dolled up and splurge every once in a while.

TooFab: How did it feel to be at the top of everyone’s Best Dressed lists at the Emmys this year?

Dobrev: It was certainly an unexpected but wonderful surprise! When choosing my dress, I wasn't expecting to be on the best dressed list, I really just wanted to pick the best dress that fit me and my personality. I am thankful to have this great moment where everything really came together perfectly, and to have such an amazing team that helped create the night's look.

TooFab: What is your process for picking dresses for awards shows?

Dobrev: There are two things that are very important to me. The clothes have to be comfortable, and I have to feel good in what I'm wearing. If I feel confident wearing something, I think it translates in photographs. It changes my demeanor and posture. I usually try on a bunch of dresses and sometimes it’s not easy to choose! There are so many beautiful dresses/gowns by unbelievable designers! But the best dress always wins!

TooFab: Do you style yourself?

Dobrev: Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. I love fashion, and I'm very opinionated when it comes to making decisions about what to wear. I do have a wonderful and talented team of people that assist me with putting my look together for those moments and events -- my stylist Ilaria Urbinati, Riawna Capri for hair and Vasilios Tanis for makeup. They are the best of the best. I trust and value their opinion so it is easy let them do their thing!

Angelina Jolie Is a Real Doll, Gushes Johnny Depp

Johnny Depp has been an Angelina Jolie fan for many years and always wanted to work with her. So when the two stars finally met for the first time last November to work on the romantic thriller The Tourist, Depp was extremely impressed.

“So much has been written about Angie and Brad [Pitt],” says Johnny, 47. “They’re sort of the Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton of our era. I knew she was a big star, but I didn’t know what to expect.”

But, like Angelina’s Salt co-star Liev Schreiber, Depp was totally impressed by the gorgeous 35-year-old Oscar winner.

“I had never met Angelina before, but I found her to be a real treat, a real doll,” Johnny told Entertainment Weekly. “She is a nice woman, serious about what she does and loves her man and loves her kids. I was very impressed.”

‘ANGIE’S DEVASTATING BEAUTY IS HYPNOTIC’

Similarly, Oscar-winning German filmmaker Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, who directs The Tourist, had wanted to work with Angelina for years.

“Literally, she gets every single script that has a female role aged between eighteen and 40—every script,” Florian, 37, has said. “And she just follows her feeling, holds her own counsel. She’s probably the only global megastar that doesn’t even have an agent—she doesn’t even have a publicist.”

Henckel von Donnersmarck says Angelina’s mesmerizing beauty is so hypnotic you can’t help but stare and gaze whenever you’re in her presence.

Britt Robertson & Thomas Dekker: Who Is Heather?

Britt Robertson and Thomas Dekker study her book of shadows in this new still from The Secret Circle.

In next week’s episode “Heather,” Cassie (Robertson) looks up an old friend of her mother’s named Heather Barnes (Camille Sullivan) and discovers she has been in a catatonic state since the night of the fire 16 years ago.

Feeling guilty that her mother and her Circle may have had something to do with Heather’s current state, Cassie tells Diana (Shelley Hennig) that she wants to use magic to help Heather. Diana refuses to help, but Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) is more than happy to conjure up a spell – for a price.

“Heather” premieres Thursday, October 6th @ 9PM ET/PT on the CW.
