MTV Eyes Doubling ‘Teen Wolf’ Order To 24 Episodes
EXCLUSIVE: I hear that MTV is considering doubling its second-season order to Teen Wolf. In July, MTV renewed the supernatural drama, inspired by the 1985 movie, for a second season with a 12-episode pickup. Now I’ve learned that there are discussions to expand the order to 24 episodes, which would be filmed back-to-back with a short hiatus between them. The teen-skewing werewolf show starring Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed and Dylan O’Brien was MTV’s highest-rated new series this season until breakout hit Awkward came along. It averaged about 1.7 million viewers on Mondays at 10 PM. Creator Jeff Davis, Marty Adelstein, Michael Thorn, René Echevarria, Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley executive produce.
The Secret Circle’s Gale Harold: “I’m The Hit Man”
Charles Meade (Gale Harold) might be a murder-crazed villain, but he’s our favorite part of The Secret Circle! Wait, sorry –– did we say villain? According to Gale Harold, Charles is more than just villainous.
“He's not just a villain,” Gale tells The Futon Critic. “He's known to people in the town as someone who also has a daughter and so he's a family man and if anyone ever finds out what he's fooling around with, the first thing is going to happen, possibly, is my daughter could be taken from me before I even make it to jail. For me, that's what is more interesting.”
Yes, but surely the fact that Charles burnt Cassie’s (Britt Robertson) mom to a crisp makes him somewhat evil, right?
“He's not some kind of guy who rides into town and starts hurting people,” Gale explains. “Though he does do that if he needs to. He has to be incredibly careful and he has to make sure no one really knows what's going on. It would put him in a lot of legal trouble and he's actively trying to build a whole new situation so the devil side of the character is very interesting.”
We’re pretty sure Charles pulling up in a car and getting his murder on qualifies him as the “kind of guy who rides into town and starts hurting people,” but we’ll go with Gale’s “misunderstood family man” thing for now. But what about Charles’ relationship with the beautiful Dawn Chamberlain (Natasha Henstridge)?
“I'm the hit man,” Gale reveals. “I do things that could have already put me very far away. I need her to be more level-headed and rational and logical. She's a high school [principal]. People have their assumptions about lawyers that are not always positive, right? But high school [principals] typically are all about the community and the students.”
So who wears the power pants in this dynamic duo? “Charles is going to plan a take-over because he's very, very compelled to do what he does and I think it's going to turn into a very serious addiction and once that happens I think I'm going to become slowly less controllable even if I know it's for my best interest to play it safe within the context of burning people to death and making people drown. I think it's going to come loose.”

True Blood Season Five: What Will Happen And Why
The finale of True Blood left us sweating, questioning and clinging to the nearest human. So many new plots were opened up and, in typical true blood style; very few were brought to completion. We won’t know what’s going to happen until the season premiers in November, but here’s what we think you can expect.
Expect Tara to be dead. Now, Tara is an ass kicking goddess who deserves her own spin off show that I would watch religiously, but if she’s not dead it will be a huge let down. You don’t end the season with a main character getting shot in the head, just to have her survive. However,
Expect Tara to haunt Lafayette. Tara isn’t completely finished yet. She’ll probably stay around for, at least, the first few episodes of next season as a ghost hovering around in Lafayette’s house. The audience needs closure, as does Lafayette who’s just lost not only Jesus (his boyfriend, not Christ) but Tara as well. And how the hell will he deal with that? Which brings us to…
Expect Lafayette to be mofoing CRAZY. Lafayette has been a pretty mentally stable character on the show so far. He’s dealt with a lot of drama and disturbing things, but he’s overcame it all and found true love with Jesus. Now he’s losing the two people he loves the most. He has to finally have a breakdown.
Expect Andy to become a father. The scene where Andy has sweaty sex with a gorgeous fairy in the middle of the woods is something that is forever burned into my mind… for better or for worse. But before they get to the love making, the fairy tells him that she must know she can trust him completely, which we can only assume means there’ll be a little half fairy version of Andy running around in the near future.
Expect Sookie and Alcide to get it on. Sure Sookie just killed Alcide’s one true love, but if there’s anything we’ve learned over the past four seasons it’s that everyone wants Sookie. Whether it’s the fairy blood or her rocking bod, it seems clear that she’s downright irresistible, and Alcide has already shown interest more than once. It may not last, but season five wouldn’t be complete without a steamy scene between Sookie and the sexy werewolf.
Expect to learn more about Eric and Pam’s relationship. Things weren’t exactly left at a great place between the two of them, and it seems clear that they are going to need to work through their problems. According to various interviews with the cast and with Alan Ball himself, we will definitely have a flashback to when Eric turned Pam into a vampire. Since Pam is the most baller character ever, we all can’t wait.
Expect more craziness from Russell Edgington. He was already insane, and now he’s back. Is it possible for him to be more terrifying? I hope so.
Expect the Jason, Jessica, Hoyt triangle to get messier. Shit’s going to get real. Here’s to hoping for a heap load of Jason/Jessica sex scenes in season five. They always were the hottest members of the cast, so seeing them in action together is almost too much pretty to handle.
Expect Terry’s friend to be very important. Terry’s friend from his time in the military shows up out of the blue, and seems shocked when he finds out Terry got married. Were they secret gay lovers? Does his friend have a creepy PTSD crush on him? How will Arlene deal with this? So many questions!

Entertainment Weekly’s ‘True Blood’ Covers
Playing the smoking hot vampire Eric Northman is humbling, to say the least, for Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgard. So to say that he’s used to the adoration from female fans of True Blood, the subject of this week’s Entertainment Weekly cover story, would be a bit of an understatement. (For proof, consider this little detail that EW dug up from Charlaine Harris, the author of the extremely popular Sookie Stackhouse novels that serve as the inspiration for True Blood: She says that fans often ask her to autograph the tomes to “Mrs. Alexander Skarsgard.”)
“I’ll never get used to that,” Skarsgard said of his googly-eyed fanbase. “It’s just very, very humbling and flattering. The character Eric means so much to me and I’m having so much fun playing him. Of course it means a lot when you meet fans and you can actually tell there are people out there who really do care about the character. It means something to you, then. That’s kind of why you do this whole thing.”
Eric fans could have plenty to salivate over this season, which begins June 26 on HBO. This year, True Blood is inspired by book four of the Stackhouse series, Dead to the World, which features a steamy shower scene between Sookie and the tall, light and handsome vamp. Unfortunately, Skargard isn’t in the mood to kiss and tell. He will say, however, that sex this year is, um, a little more down to earth. “I did some crazy stuff last year. I almost had sex with a Greek man and I was covered in his goo. Everything from here on is pretty childish. Everything’s quite innocent.”
'True Blood's' Rutina Wesley talks Sunday's shocking finale
(EW.com) -- "True Blood" fans are still reeling from last night's epic and bloody season finale.
SPOILER ALERT! We saw the returns of Grands (Lois Smith) and Rene (Michael Raymond-James), as well as possibly the resurrection of Russell (Denis O'Hare). But the most disturbing twists were Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) stabbing Jesus (Kevin Alejandro), and Tara (Rutina Wesley) getting shot in the head by Debbie Pelt (Britt Morgan).
EW talked to Wesley about the finale and whether or not Tara survived the gunshot wound.
What did you think when you read the season finale script?
Well I mean, I knew ahead of time that it was coming. It's always a scary place as an actor to go there. I don't know what their plans are for next season. I know that Alan has said there are "big plans," but I don't know what that really means, and things can always change. I'm not for sure, but I trust him completely. At the end of the day, it's hard to see how I'm coming back, seeing as half of my head was just blown off. I don't know. They may figure something out. I mean it's True Blood. There's always flashbacks. There's phantasms. There's all this crazy stuff. It's very possible. But I'm excited either way. If it does all end, I've had the most amazing time of my life. It's really great.
In your mind, is Tara dead?
Well I mean half my head is missing. I'm just gonna keep saying that. You know, it's "True Blood." I feel like anything is possible. If anything, it is the golden hour though. If she is able to be saved, it's like she's got 20 seconds. It's not a lot of time. I'm curious to see what they're going to do with all of it. I hope I'm back. But again half my head is missing [laughs].
Maybe Tara will just wear a lot of hats?
Yeah I mean yeah she can wear a lot of hats. Put some gauze on it. But people are going crazy! [Laughs]
It was crazy! Are people approaching you?
Well my phone has been blowing up. I talked to Nelsan and his phone was blowing up. He was like, "People are about to start a riot over you." I think that's so sweet to know that people out there are really upset and some people are like, "I'm not watching the show anymore!" I'm like, C'mon guys. But it's not over. It ain't over til the fat lady sings. I'm just gonna take it one day at a time. As I said, I haven't seen any scripts from next season, but I know that I'm involved -- I just don't know in what way.
Are you signed on for a season 5?
Yeah. It's out there that Alan has already said that he has big plans for Tara. But things change. I don't know exactly what they have in store for me and how long that will be. It's tricky. And if I did know, I'm just not going to say. [Laughs] But again -- half the head is missing. The cool part is people are talking. And that's the question is: Is she dead or is she not? Because people can survive head wounds. But we have people on the show that can make things happen -- you know what I mean? I don't know what's going to happen the first episode of next season. I'm just as excited and curious you are. I hope it's good. I hope I stick around for a while. That would be nice. [Laughs]
Was it emotional shooting that scene on the kitchen floor?
It was emotional. I think we all went out afterwards -- me, Britt and Anna -- just to sort of have a little celebration. But it was very very emotional. I don't think there was a dry eye when we shot that scene. It's very clear the relationship when Tara goes, "I would die for you." Basically, I would take a bullet for you. That's not necessarily a best friend -- she's like my sister. I think it was so amazing to see that. To see her walk in and go, "Oh, uh-uh." That goes to show you how much love Tara has. Anna in that moment I think played it so beautifully, and it was hard for me because I was like, "Okay, play dead. Play dead."
